Security and support

It’s of paramount importance to the team here at The Outlook, to provide an inviting environment that students can feel safe, secure and supported in. As well as having CCTV and fire alarms throughout the whole building, there is a team member on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide you with any assistance you might need. The layout of The Outlook ensures maximum security at all times, with no access between the main building and annexe, instead using a code operated door and direct lift.

Our warm, personable and family orientated approach ensures that all our students will be well looked after and supported throughout their time with us at The Outlook; we’re offering more than just student accommodation. We aim to create a friendly and inclusive atmosphere that students can thrive in, and we’re keen to encourage everyone to make the best use of this welcoming space.

There is the on-site café for students to enjoy. Alternatively, Oasis Fun indoor entertainment centre with its own bowling alley, adventure golf and bar, offers a perfect escape for you to partake in during your downtime. Both the café and our entertainment centre are situated directly below the car park and our premium accommodation. This means you won’t have to leave the facility to enjoy a game or two of crazy golf.

Our multi-levelled site has a plethora of state-of-the-art facilities for you to benefit from, such as our unique outside terrace area situated on the roof of the complex. This spacious yet safe courtyard is the perfect place for socialising and enjoying a barbecue away from the hustle and bustle while revelling in the view.

Due to The Outlook’s proximity to Bournemouth’s city centre and its many car parks, we can offer our students fantastic centralised parking solutions, at ultra-competitive prices. To find out more information about our on-site parking facilities, get in touch with a member of our courteous and helpful staff. We also have amenities for secure bicycle storage on-site. However, we advise you to bring your own bike lock to ensure extra safety.
